Sodium Bicarbonate aka Baking Soda : Skin Benefits
As you may have noticed, all of our bath bombs use sodium bicarbonate! We really pride ourselves in not putting too much extra stuff in our bath bombs actually, but that is a story for another day.
Back to baking soda.
Did you know it using baking soda in your bath is an effective way to relieve tensions and pain, boost circulation, and encourage healing. It has been said that baking soda can soothe and relieve yeast infection symptoms. (So skip the clay based bath bombs and look for baking soda based bath bombs for your lady part) It may also help soothe the raw skin of a babies butt with diaper rash! It is common knowledge that baking soda is amazing for relieving itchy skin for those who suffer from eczema (bonus: the moisture you need after is already in the bath bomb).
Lastly, using baking soda in your baths is a gentle way to detox! Works even better with ginger and epsom salt!
So rest assured that we are thinking about your skin with every bath bomb we make!
Besides, we are making boots better one bomb at a time!
